Channing, an independent school based in North London, where girls aged 4 to 18 can discover their interests, develop their talents, and build lasting friendships. Our inspiring environment fosters academic achievement and personal growth.
The school actively prepares pupils for the future.
A visionary all-girls school full of extremely confident, capable and engaging young women.
‘Fearless’ teaching and learning, encouraging girls to step out of their comfort zone and be ‘10 per cent braver’, is reaping academic rewards. It is a useful life lesson too, but not at the expense of school being fun.
Excellent academics, fantastic pastoral care and a wonderful way of imbuing girls with self-confidence, Channing makes a strong argument for single-sex education.
Girls throw themselves into all aspects of school life, and teacher commitment goes way beyond the classroom.

Our Junior School girls have proudly represented the school in Hockey, Cross Country and two Netball fixtures last week. Lots more to come over the remainder of the term. Well done, Girls!

Year 12 A-level Politics students attended the annual Polecon conference in Westminster on March 2nd. Students from across the country gathered to hear speakers from across the political spectrum, including Zack Polanski, Zarah Sultana, Jacob Rees-Mogg and Laila Cunningham. Topics ranged from global conflicts to immigration and the economy. Talks from Alastair Campbell and Health Secretary Wes Streeting highlighted the importance of political engagement.
We’re delighted to welcome Sir Vince Cable to Channing this Thursday.
Our Politics students will have the opportunity to hear from the former Leader of the Liberal Democrats and UK Business Secretary as he shares insights from his remarkable career in economics, public policy and national politics.
Last week we celebrated Creative Arts Week, exploring how the arts challenge stereotypes and familiar tropes. Pupils debated powerful literary heroines, took part in a Six!
