Channing Awarded Green Flag Award with Distinction for Second Year Running

Channing has been awarded the Eco -Schools Green Flag Award with Distinction for the second year in a row! A big well done to all the Eco Reps, staff members, and our Sustainability Officers, Bella and Olivia.

The feedback from the awarding body could not have been more positive:

“The motto ‘Channing growing greener, braver, and more aware.’ has been kept from last year, and why change a good thing? It’s probably been clear throughout this feedback, but your application has been an absolute joy to assess…there are so many highlights throughout and we will definitely share some of your ideas as examples of best practice. Thank you so much for all your hard work and congratulations on achieving a Green Flag with Distinction, you have more than earned it.”

As the sustainability group we celebrate this success while also being aware that it is part of an ongoing process and that there is much more we can do together at Channing.
