Drinks in the City 2023

Wow; what a fun time was had by all at the Drinks in the City event on Thursday 23 March at The Folly! It was great to see so many alumnae in attendance (even if the weather didn’t match our sparkling spirits).

With fabulous canapes and delicious bowl food, to bubbles and wine on ice I think it’s safe to say that we made that section of the bar come to life under the twinkling lights and garden glamour.

A huge thank you to the (two) Ms Newmans (…you had to be there) who thoroughly enjoyed their night, Mrs Bhamra-Burgess and Ms Yun for adding to the fun. As well as Mrs Blake (née Slamon), who was there in an alumna capacity, who reported that ‘everyone was so enthused about what a great event it was!’, as she caught up with her friends from Channing and other year groups.

We were so thrilled to hear about what you have all been up to – visiting Channing friends all around the globe, raising little ones of your own (a full time job in itself!), exploring the world of Marketing, making waves in HM Police services – the list goes on: and we are proud of every last one of you.

After such a successful and well enjoyed event we are delighted to announce that this will be an annual event hosted at different places in town for all alumnae to enjoy, so watch this space for updates and for next year’s calendar of events.
