Year 7 Haringey Indoor Athletics

Congratulations to Year 7 team competed in the Haringey Sports Hall Athletics competition at St Thomas More School on Wednesday. They performed with focus, enthusiasm and determination to do their best in both their track and field events. They were supportive and encouraging of each other and of the other competitors throughout the whole competition. They placed 5th overall which was an outstanding effort, especially for their first Indoor Athletics Competition. A special mention to Scout M. who placed 1st in her 6 lap track event. She ran a well structured and paced race, and to Violet L who placed 3rd in her 2 lap track event, flighting all the way to the end. Well done to the whole team – to Scout M, Tamara P, Maria P, Alaia P, Frankie G, Violet L and Milla C for their outstanding efforts and achievements. We are so proud of them and look forward to seeing them perform at future athletics events.
