Music at Lunchtime – Friday 7th October 2022

We were treated to a feast of string and vocal music last Friday lunchtime. Starting with Ellie S on the harp, who stunned with the gorgeous sound of this impressive instrument in Renie’s ‘Angelus’. May M then gave her debut performance as a Year 7 student on the violin with a confident rendition of ‘On The Go’. Maisie B showed great control over ‘What shall we do with the drunken sailor’ also on the violin. Leila A-H was our first singer with a stylistic performance of ‘Chim Chim Cheree’ and she was then joined by Elena S to give a moving duet performance of ‘All through the night’. Alexa L-B’s ‘Orientale’ was then played with real control and musicianship on the violin. Rosie P closed proceedings with a passionate performance of ‘I dreamed a dream’. Do Listen back!
