Sixth Form students recently took part in the interview and assessment centre skills Enrichment session. They completed a carousel of activities which they might encounter during the typical job or internship application process. These included preparing for face to face, telephone and video interviews; undergoing a face to face interview with a parent volunteer; completing a group exercise in which they had to decide the best items to save from a plane crash to ensure their survival; and completing some online abstract reasoning aptitude tests.
We are extremely grateful to the parents who gave their time, advice and support to the Channing Careers programme!
Today, in the Senior School, we wear pink in honour of Allie Wylie Day and in support of the Alexandra Wylie Tower Foundation (@awtf.1).

As part of our RE topic this term, Year 3 has been learning all about Diwali. To deepen their understanding, the children took part in an energetic Diwali dance workshop where they explored traditional movements and the stories behind the Festival of Lights. During Forest School, they created beautiful rangoli patterns using natural materials, carefully arranging colours and shapes on the forest floor. To complete their celebrations, the class crafted their own diya lamps, learning about their symbolism and importance in Diwali traditions.
